You are in pain. You don’t feel like you will ever be good enough. Maybe you feel like you are too different. You feel nervous all the time and can’t figure out why. Maybe you feel sad and you don’t know why. You just want to be accepted and you would do anything to feel like you are. It feels like you will never fit in. The grown-ups just don’t get it. It’s too weird to talk about this stuff with your parents. It can be lonely when you are stuck carrying these feelings all by yourself.
I get it.
I help girls who are struggling with feeling like they aren’t good enough. The truth is you are good enough, sometimes it just doesn’t feel that way. Your story is important to me. The stuff that happens in your life as a kid and teenager are significant because they can change the person you become. In therapy, I ask questions to get a better understanding of who you are and where you are coming from. We can talk and work together to find some ways to start feeling better.
What if you felt confident in who you are? What if you had the courage to be yourself and not care what the other kids think? What if you felt brave enough to show the world your talents and gifts? It is possible to get there. Ask your parents to give me a call so we can start working together! There is hope!
