Does your daughter struggle with self-esteem?
Does she seem to have trouble making and keeping friends?
Do you worry about her relying on social media too much?
Do you wish there was a place for her to meet with supportive peers who relate AND learn better coping skills?
I am excited to announce the return of in-person Teen Groups at Therapy and Mindfulness Practices.
In this group, your daughter will:
- Build self-esteem and confidence
- Learn practical coping skills for anxiety, negative self-talk and low moods
- Identify her values and learn to live more in alignment with the life she wants to live
- Experience the power of peer support—understanding that she is not alone in her struggles
Led by Meghan Renzi, LCSW-C, the group uses evidence-based approaches, including:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help your client focus on her values and what truly matters to her
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reshape negative thinking patterns
- Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help her manage emotions and reduce stress
- Positive Psychology to emphasize strengths, boost resilience, and nurture a mindset of growth and gratitude
Groups offer clients an opportunity to give and get support!
Groups are open to:
- Clients who identify as female, ages 13-17.
- Clients who struggle with low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety disorders, including social anxiety and OCD.
- Clients in need of more positive coping skills.
- Clients who struggle in relationships with peers.
- Those already in individual therapy.
Group cost is $200 for monthly membership (4 groups per month)
Intakes are required for those new to the practice.
Space is limited. Contact us to reserve your daughter's spot!
